I think the changes from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 were made to conform to the technological society changes where people want information quickly and conveniently. Web 2.0 now gives consumers an opportunity to see feedback from other consumers or can communicate with each other. This is beneficial for education because it provides the opportunity for educators to communicate and share ideas with each other. Web 2.0 also helps with educating students, whereas now there are more opportunities for people to take online courses and programs that accommodates students to learn anytime and anywhere.
